My Experience in the Bnei Mitzvah Program

My name is Elka Green & I am in the Bnei Mitzvah program.

Every Sunday we go to the bakery or the cafe. We first talk about the Sunflower Bakery and what they do. We once spoke about our 5 senses and how important they are. We put gloves on with some of our fingers tied and we took a test!

After we talk, we actually work and help in the bakery or cafe. We help make boxes, put stickers on boxes, and sometimes we help put cookies in boxes.

It’s really fun. Every Sunday I get really excited to go to the bakery or cafe. Sadly, this program is only twice a year and is only 5 weeks per group.  We are on our 4th week, just 1 more week 🙁

But a new batch of girls & boys will come when our 5 weeks are over.I hope they enjoy 🙂
