We require 48-hour notice. For orders $300+, we ask for 72 hours notice. For orders $500+, a minimum of 5 business days.
No, we are unable to accommodate custom platter orders. In the past, we have allowed customers to remove a given item from a platter and substitute with an item already on the platter. (for example, on a cookie platter you could order “no ginger cookies, more crinkle”.

Yes. There are NO peanuts or peanut products (oil, butter etc.) in our kitchen. People have brought peanuts into the front area of the bakery but not into the kitchen.
We use almonds, pecans, pistachios, and walnuts on a regular basis. Other nuts, but NOT peanuts, are used more infrequently. We work hard to prevent cross-contamination but nut-free products are made in the same kitchen along with products containing nuts.
No. We use a lot of flour in the bakery. However, we do have some gluten free items. Check the website for current availability. Gluten free items are marked GF. We are not a gluten free bakery.

No. Sunflower Bakery abides by Montgomery County Law and uses only margarine not labeled as not containing trans fats.
Yes. We are kosher, pareve under the Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington.
Yes. Our facility only uses winter wheat, which means that all of our products are yoshon except for products containing oats.
