Sunflower in Your Community

Sunflower in Your Community is a mutually beneficial fundraising program for participating organizations and Sunflower Bakery. Monthly deliveries are made to the participating organizations and a portion of those funds go to the organization at the end of the year.

Benefits

  1. Monthly central pickup at your host organization.
  2. Provide valuable on-the-job training for our Pastry Arts Employment Training students.
  3. Donations to your host organization.

Requirements

  • A contact person to work with Sunflower Bakery
  • Communication with your community members to encourage monthly orders
  • $350 in orders each month to qualify for free delivery within 25 miles of our Bakery. Locations outside 25 miles may be considered.

Are your products kosher?
All of our products are certified kosher and pareve (non-dairy) under the supervision of the Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington. Sunflower Bakery is Pas Yisroel.

Are your products nut-free?

Some of our products contain nuts. We use best practices to prevent cross contamination, however, there are nuts — pecans, almonds and walnuts — in the bakery.

Are you peanut-free?

There are NO peanuts or peanut products in the bakery.

How do I place my order?

Choose the products you would like from our menu, and go to Check Out. When checking out:

  • If someone other than yourself is picking up the order, please note their name in the Order Notes.
  • In the Choose Pickup or Delivery section, select Sunflower Community Pickup Location button. Locations and dates for the next 30 days are listed.
  • Is your location not listed? If it is during Rosh Hashanah, Thanksgiving, or Purim, they may be under a specific holiday pickup option instead of Sunflower Community Pickup.
